Ten Years in Yoga:

Reflections on the Mat for Self-Healing and Mindful Awareness

What happens when you trade the high-stakes corporate grind for a yoga mat, a master’s degree in Yoga Studies, and a relentless search for your true Self?

“Reading these essays feels like being invited into rich and, at times, challenging conversations. I hope you write notes in the margins and allow this book to generate your own reflections and questions.” — Viviana Vallin, MA, LPCC

In Ten Years in Yoga, Amy Osborne, MA, E-RYT, opens the vault on a decade of raw reflections. Tracing her evolution from a perfectionist overachiever to an advocate for trauma-informed mindfulness and somatic healing, Osborne offers an intimate look at what it truly means to let life change you.

With witty candor and fierce vulnerability, this essay collection bridges ancient philosophy—from the Bhagavad Gita to the neuroscience of meditation—with the messy reality of modern life:

• Cross-country moves & travel to India
• Entrepreneurship & community work
• The quiet, unpredictable shifts of growing up

Ten Years in Yoga is a soul-stirring, imperfect invitation to stop forcing your way through struggles, step back into your agency, and trust that the path forward has been within you all along.
