This two-day immersive training introduces participants to the science and practice of trauma-informed mindfulness and yoga, integrating evidence-based interventions with accessible movement, meditation, and reflective inquiry. Through guided practices, discussions, and applied methodology, participants will deepen their understanding of concepts such as the Window of Tolerance, Polyvagal Theory, ACEs, and neuroplasticity while developing practical tools for self-regulation, community outreach, and trauma-sensitive teaching. Designed for yoga teachers, social workers, educators, and community practitioners, this training equips participants with the knowledge and skills to design and facilitate trauma-informed classes that support diverse populations and promote resilience and healing in both individual and group settings. About the facilitator:

Amy Osborne, M.A., E-RYT, has spent a decade studying the physiology of mindfulness and Yoga tradition through research, teaching, and community outreach. After earning her Master of Arts in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University—where she published her thesis, A Year in Yoga: Science and Practice of Trauma Informed Mindfulness—she opened and operated a yoga studio and wellness center near Sarasota, Florida, offering integrative healing classes, trainings, and community events.
